Brownies

From the kitchen of PJ

1 c. butter, melted
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. nuts (optional)

Melt butter, mix with sugar and eggs, add vanilla, salt, flour and cocoa. Mix well. Spread on greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350F for about 18 minutes. If using 9 x 13 pan, bake for 30 minutes. Top with chocolate frosting or sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
